At MWC 2017, Chinese smartphone brand, Vernee has leaked its new year lineup about new products. First smartphone is the special one in Apollo series, Vernee Apollo X, as you know Vernee Apollo X will not use the processor of Helio X30 that Apollo 2 uses, but it will use Helio X20 Deca core processor, therefore, Vernee Apollo X will be the lite version of Vernee Apollo 2.
In addition, the other big news is that Vernee Apollo X will use its own OS, VOS, Vernee Operating system, it is said that VOS will be very close to stock android OS, but Vernee OS will have some new features which will improve users’ experience. Vernee Apollo X will be its first smartphone to use its own OS, in the near future, VOS will be used on other Vernee existing smartphones.
Although this time Vernee Apollo X is not as strong as Vernee Apollo 2 with Helio X30 processor but with Helio X20 processor, which proves to support nice performance and power consumption, The processor has ten cores arranged in a tri-cluster framework: 2 x Cortex-A72 clocked at between 2.1GHz to 2.3GHz; 4 x Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.85GHz; and 4 x Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.4GHz. Therefore, Vernee Apollo X will sell cheaper.
