This GAMING mouse is a lightweight wireless mouse which has a distinctive butterfly design and equipped with the flagship sensor PAW3395. The weight is 53±3g with 1000Hz polling rate. It supports ultra-low latency, highly accurate wired connections and stable wireless connections.
In this article, i will briefly review and check the basic features/functions, design, and operability of PHYLINA S450. Here’s a breakdown of my experience with this gaming wireless mouse.

What inside the Box
Upon unboxing, the S450 Mouse package offers a range of accessories, including the mouse, a 1.5m USB Type-C data cable, a USB Adapter, Foot Stickers for the bottom, anti-slip stickers for buttons, and a User Manual. The diverse set of accessories enhances the overall user experience with the S450 mouse.
Design
The PHYLINA S450 features a novel, lightweight design. The polycarbonate bottom shell has a clear butterfly design. Standard soles are made from 100% virgin PTFE. There is a USB-C charging port on the lower front of the mouse.
The design is reminiscent of the Lamzu Atlantis, but the feel is said to be similar to the Gwolves HATI S Plus. It has a symmetrical and generally accepted shape, with the side buttons slightly protruding from the waist of the main body.
There is no coating applied throughout, and the material and shape are slippery. To increase grip strength, you can use the included grip tape.
Size/Weight
The size is 119 x 61 x 41 mm and the weight is around 57grams (actual value). It’s not the lightest, but it’s lighter than a typical gaming mouse. Since the main body board and battery are located at the front, the center of gravity of the main body is closer to the front.
Weight balance is likely to be a concern when delicate and agile mouse operations are required. Even with its symmetrical design and Medium size, it feels taller and larger overall than the Ajazz AJ139 Pro or Hecate G3M Pro. I rate the build quality as high for the price.
Preferences about the height and waist of the device, how comfortable it is to hold, and how quickly and precisely the mouse can be operated will vary depending on the size of your hands and how you hold it. Suitable for average adult male hand size.

Testing
The initial value of debounce time (Debounce) is set arbitrarily. We recommend changing it to an appropriate value to avoid chattering.
You can change button assignments, scroll speed, brightness, DPI light color, LoD (Lift-off Distance) settings, etc. You can also change the initial values assigned to DPI (400, 800, 1600, 2400, 3200, 6400).
It has an interface very similar to Pulsar and Lamzu dedicated apps. Therefore, the software cannot be launched at the same time as it conflicts with a competitor’s dedicated application. However, it is not a resident app, so it is a good idea to start it when configuring the settings.
This mouse offers both USB wired and 2.4G wireless connectivity options. What’s really cool is that you can charge it while it’s connected through the Type-C interface in wired mode. Yes, you heard it right – you can keep using it while it’s charging, so no more fretting about battery life!

In this regard, I recommend using the USB-C female/USB-A female adapter: connect the rope cable to your PC, the adapter on top of the cable, the Wi-Fi receiver to the adapter and thus you keep the receiver as close to the mouse as possible while using it.
It is a “technique” used by more and more gaming mouse manufacturers, and serves to minimize the possibility of interference while playing with the mouse.
Concusion
PHYLINA S450 is a gaming mouse that can be connected either wired or wirelessly. The main body comes in two colors, and the butterfly design on the back is distinctive. It feels lighter than a typical gaming mouse.
However, perhaps due to the shape (edge) and size of the mouse sole, the slippage is not excellent enough. For this reason, some people seem to be improving their performance by installing a separate mouse sole.
The inclusion of detailed DPI adjustment and switching buttons in the dedicated app is an evaluation point. The wheels work well, and the wheel notches and switches are light. Preferences vary regarding the constriction on the side of the main unit, the feel of the side buttons, and the size and height.
The included Type-C cable terminal is installed horizontally, so when using a wired connection, you need to be careful to prevent the cable from getting caught. If necessary, it is also possible to replace (re-cable) with a general-purpose cable.
