Igeekphone March 4 news, blogger @digital chat station today broke the news that Xiaomi 15 series mobile phones are all testing the top single point ultrasonic fingerprint, entering the New stage of hardware NPI (New Product Introduction, new product introduction) in April, and there may be small screen competing products at the end of the year.
The blogger said that the Mi 15 series of mobile phones will maintain the straight and double size strategy of the Mi 13 and 14 series, the standard version still uses a small straight screen design, and the small screen version is also testing the Hui top single point ultrasonic fingerprint scheme.

Regarding the “small screen competitor” that may appear at the end of the year, the blogger said last month that the next generation of OPPO and OnePlus is evaluating small size straight screens.
Igeekphone found that the company has released the GUM5228 ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, applied to the flexible AMOLED screen under the screen fingerprint recognition, identification area of 5mm x 5mm, using SPI interface communication. Huding claims that the ultrasonic fingerprint solution is based on a CMOS Sensor architecture, “has a higher signal-to-noise ratio”, and the module thickness is 0.17mm.
