Oukitel is a brand unknown to most people. But they have been launching mid-range and low-end phones for a couple of years, with average performance, but with really big batteries like the Oukitel K6000, a low-end mobile phone with 6000 mAh battery. Today we have learned that Oukitel wants to launch the first mobile phone with 4 cameras, the Oukitel U22 .
We already knew that this 2017 is the year of the frameless screen and the double camera. And while everyone is opting to remove the frames, Oukitel has chosen to take the double camera to another level. This Oukitel U22 will not have 4 sensors in its main camera, but will be 4 sensors in total . So it will have 2 sensors in the front and another 2 in the back. Smartphones with 2 sensors in the rear camera are very common. What is not so common, are smartphones with double sensor in the front, the first of them to implement it was the LG V10, which played with the angle of the sensor.
The specifications of these sensors are, for the main camera , an 8-megapixel sensor , interpolated to 13, along with another 2-megapixel sensor , to achieve blur effects. And on the front, a 5 megapixel sensor , interpolated to 8, and a secondary 2 megapixel of which is still known that function will have, although everything indicates that it is to perform the same function as in the main.
The remaining specifications are completed with a Soc MT6580A from MediaTek with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, expandable by microSD cards. A 5.5-inch screen in HD resolution, 720 x 1280 pixels , with 2.5D finish. A battery of 3,500 mAh , which promises to give a very good autonomy.
Oukitel U22 could be available for reservation in mid-May , in three different colors:black, white and gold . The price has not yet been filtered.
