Its corresponding international version is the Xiaomi POCO X8 Pro, with the model number 2511FPC34G. The model of the Indian version of POCO X8 Pro is 2511FPC34I.
As a new member of the Turbo series, the REDMI Turbo 5 is the first to be equipped with the Mediatek Dimensity 8500 chip, which is the most powerful Dimensity 8 series processor from Mediatek.
In December last year, the REDMI Turbo 4 was the first to be equipped with the Dimensity 8400 series chip. It adopted the same full-core architecture design as the flagship models, featuring 8 Arm Cortex-A725 cores with a main frequency as high as 3.25GHz. Moreover, the L2 cache was doubled and the L3 cache was increased by 50%.
As the successor to the Dimensity 8400, the Dimensity 8500 will still adopt a full-core architecture design and is expected to be manufactured by TSMC. Its performance is set to reach new heights.
In addition, the REDMI Turbo 5 will adopt a 1.5K LTPS straight screen, be equipped with a metal frame, and have a battery capacity of over 7000mAh.
