Igeekphone News, August 6th: Samsung launched the One UI 7 system update based on Android 15 in April this year. Initially, the push was slightly delayed due to system vulnerabilities and stability issues, but then the pace accelerated. The successively released Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE have all pre-installed the Android 16 version of One UI 8.

According to foreign media Neowin’s report today, Samsung officially announced that it will expand the public beta test range to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 starting from next week. The first batch of compatible regions include South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom and India. And more models including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy A36 5G, Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A54, It will join the public beta test in September.
Samsung also confirmed that the official version of One UI 8 will be rolled out to its flagship models starting from September. According to the performance of the current public beta version, One UI 8 is a minor improvement on the basis of One UI 7, and the system runs more smoothly and stably.
