Igeekphone News, August 29th: The first batch of Beta version internal test updates for Xiaomi’s Hyper OS 3 have officially started to be pushed out. This update is a major system version upgrade, involving multiple models.
Users with the internal test qualification can check whether they have received the push notification by clicking on “My Device” in the phone Settings and continuously clicking on the version number. The size of the installation package for this update varies by model. For instance, the installation package for the Xiaomi 15 Pro is 7.7GB, while that for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is 9GB.

Igeekphone has noticed that Xiaomi’s official account reminds users that as this is a major system version upgrade, the time for shutting down and restarting the phone may be relatively long. Therefore, users need to ensure that their phones have sufficient battery power and wait patiently when the phone restarts. Although no user data will be deleted during the system update process, the official still recommends that users back up important data before the update to ensure data security.
After the update is completed, in order to further enhance the user experience, the system will carry out a series of in-depth optimizations in the background. During this period, the device may experience overheating, increased power consumption and other issues, but users need not worry. These phenomena are normal and will recover on their own within 1 to 3 days.
It is reported that there are a total of 8 models in the first batch of internal testing of the Xiaomi Hyper OS 3 Beta version. Including Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Xiaomi 15S Pro, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, REDMI K80 Pro, REDMI K80 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5.
