Igeekphone News, November 25th: At today’s new product launch event, the first HarmonyOS 2-in-1 tablet, Huawei MatePad Edge, was officially released.
As a 2-in-1 device, Huawei MatePad Edge, based on the powerful capabilities of the underlying HarmonyOS operating system, has achieved a perfect integration of the tablet ecosystem and the computer ecosystem, eliminating the operational barriers between the two.

Users only need to swipe their four fingers horizontally on the screen to quickly switch between “tablet mode” and “computer mode”.
Tablet mode: Retains the smooth touch, handwriting experience and immersive large-screen leisure entertainment.
Computer mode: Restores familiar keyboard and mouse operations, multi-window opening and other functions, supports a large number of HarmonyOS computer applications such as WPS, Infilm, and ZWCAD, and meets the professional office needs of PC level.

The data files, accounts, etc. in the two modes can also be synchronized. This system-level integration enables Huawei MatePad Edge to truly achieve a leap from “form integration” to “experience integration”, solving the long-standing pain points of performance, interaction and ecosystem.
In terms of hardware configuration, the MatePad Edge also demonstrates a flagship level, equipped with a 14.2-inch OLED large screen with a screen-to-body ratio as high as 94%, featuring a high resolution of 3.1K, a high refresh rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 1000nit.

In a slim body of only about 6.8mm, it adopts a micro-pump liquid cooling film and a dual-fan cooling architecture of diamond aluminum, achieving an industry-leading 28W performance release in one. The overall performance of the device is increased by up to 3.8 times, and it is the first to support 140W super fast charging.
The body is equipped with an integrated aluminum alloy stand. At the same time, it can be paired with the all-new Nova Leap floating keyboard, which has a 1.8mm key travel and a Free Touch pressure touchpad. Combined with the HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro stylus and the freely switchable PC/Pad dual mode, it can freely switch working modes in different scenarios.
