iGEEKPHONE News on December 8th: Recently, there have been multiple rumors suggesting that the yield of Samsung’s Exynos 2600 is insufficient and its mass production has been delayed.
According to the latest revelation by the blogger “Smart Chip Insider”, the model of Samsung Exynos 2600 is still scheduled to be launched in January next year, which means it will make its debut next month.
The Exynos 2600 will be first equipped in the Galaxy S26 series. This is the industry’s first 2nm chip, manufactured using Samsung’s 2nm GAA process.

The CPU adopts a 10-core design, including 1 super-large core at 3.80GHz, 3 large cores at 3.26GHz, and 6 cores at 2.76GHz. Its single-core score exceeds 3400 points, and its multi-core score exceeds 11,000 points.
Compared with the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra, the single-core performance of Exynos 2600 is not as good as that of the former, but its multi-core performance is close to that of the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra, making it the most powerful mobile phone chip in Samsung’s history.
However, this time Samsung has adopted an independent 5G baseband design, which enables the separation of chip and baseband processes. The baseband part can use a more cost-effective process and maintain independent evolution and iteration.

It should be noted that this time, Samsung will still not fully switch back to self-developed chips. Only some countries and regions will adopt them, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra will still be the main supply.
It is reported that the Samsung Galaxy S26 series still consists of three models, including Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
