Igeekphone reported on January 13th that the official of realme announced today that the “trendy gaming flagship” Realme Neo8 will be officially launched at 19:00 on January 22nd. Its promotional slogan is “No surpassing, no launch”, and it claims that “it has achieved a comprehensive surpassing in terms of performance, screen, design and experience”.
The new realme Neo 8 model will be the first to feature a 165Hz Samsung Sky Canvas screen globally. It is equipped with M14 light-emitting substrate and is compatible with the native 165 FPS mode of games such as “CrossFire – Gun War King”, “Delta Force”, and “PUBG”.
It is introduced that this mobile phone will be equipped with the “Green Field Eye Protection” technology, which supports full-brightness DC dimming. It can directly control the screen brightness by directly regulating voltage and current. The contrast between light and dark in one frame of image only occurs once. Compared with the method of controlling brightness by rapidly switching the light source as in PWM, this method is more eye-friendly. It has a similar automatic color temperature adjustment function of the original color display， which can automatically adjust the screen color temperature according to the ambient color temperature.
