Igeekphone reported on January 19th that blogger @DigitalXiaoliantiaozhan posted a message today revealing that the new models of OPPO’s K Turbo series are undergoing accelerated development, and their release date is earlier than that of the previous generation. This model is equipped with Dimensity 9500s processor and a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS straight screen. The screen and processor configuration are very similar to that of Redmi Turbo, both being high-performance models with large-capacity batteries and image scanning functions.
The blogger stated that the key feature of OPPO’s new K Turbo series phones is the built-in waterproof active cooling fan. The standard model features a 6.59-inch mid-screen, directly competing with Redmi (this mid-screen new model also has a fan, and the blogger revealed that all models in this series have fans).
A netizen asked if the REDMI K100, after the failure of the K90, would still attempt to enter the 4000 yuan price range? The blogger replied: “The K90PM can’t be considered a failure, Redmi made its first attempt to enter the 4K price range. Its sales were better than OnePlus, and the overseas POCO model also sold well. The next generation is likely to continue the upgrade route.” Another netizen asked which phone uses vivo’s new MediaTek processor? The blogger disclosed: “It’s the iQOO Z.”
