Igeekphone reported on March 25th that manufacturer Pine64 is promoting the upcoming PineTime Pro open-source smartwatch, but has not yet disclosed the specific launch date and price information for the product.
According to the official pre-release information, it is currently known that this watch will be equipped with an AMOLED display, a built-in GPS and a blood oxygen sensor. Its crown supports rotation and pressing, and the watch will also be equipped with a “custom chip”.
For comparison, the current PineTime watch is priced at $27. This watch is equipped with a 1.3-inch 240×240 resolution IPS panel, uses the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52832 chip, is equipped with an accelerometer, heart rate sensor, vibration motor, and has a built-in 170 mAh battery.
