The most advanced in Intel history! The Core Ultra 300 series vPro platform is Released

Igeekphone March 26th: Intel has officially launched the vPro commercial platform based on the Core Ultra 300 series, covering the complete product range from Core Ultra 5 332 to Core Ultra X9 388H. The official claims that this is the most advanced commercial client product lineup to date.

All models support Intel vPro technology and are included in the Intel SIPP program. They are targeted at the commercial PC market in 2026 and will power over 125 terminal products.

The flagship models, Core Ultra X9 388H, X9 386H, X7 368H and X7 366H, all feature a 16-core configuration, with the maximum turbo frequency reaching 5.1 GHz, and the integrated NPU computing power reaching 50 TOPS.

Some high-end models are equipped with Intel Arc B390 or Arc Pro B390 graphics cards (with 12 Xe cores), while the mid-to-low-end models are equipped with 4-core or 2-core Intel integrated graphics cards.

The Core Ultra 5 338H is a 12-core design with a NPU computing power of 47 TOPS, and it is equipped with either the Arc B370 or Arc Pro B370 graphics card.

In terms of platform scalability, it offers a maximum of 20 PCIe channels, integrates four Thunderbolt 4 interfaces and supports standalone Thunderbolt 5. Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.
Memory supports LPDDR5x-9600 or DDR5-7200. Some configurations can be expanded up to 128GB. The base power consumption of the processor is 25W, and the maximum turbo power consumption of the high-end model reaches 80W.

Intel compared its Core Ultra 7 365 with its Core i7-1265U. The single-core performance increased by 32%, the multi-core performance rose by 40%, the GPU performance improved by 80%, the video editing performance enhanced by 86%, the office productivity increased by 34%, and the GPU AI performance reached 4 times.

In terms of competitive benchmarking, Intel compared it with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 375. Taking the Core Ultra X7 358H as an example, the photo editing performance was 1% ahead, the web application performance was 8% ahead, the general office performance was 33% ahead, the video editing performance was 58% ahead, and the AI performance was 149% ahead.

On the vPro platform, the new features include:
Intel vPro Certification Program: Through in-depth collaboration with ISVs and the ecosystem, this program can optimize application and accessory performance, further reduce CPU usage, optimize power efficiency, and minimize background operations.

The preliminary results show that the CPU usage rate can be reduced by up to 59%, energy efficiency can be improved by up to 56%, and background activities can be decreased by up to 74%.

Intel vPro intelligent management and device IQ features: Introduce AI-driven analytical capabilities to proactively detect, diagnose, and resolve device issues, thereby reducing downtime and alleviating the operational burden on IT support teams.

Intel vPro Fleet Device Management Service: This service simplifies out-of-band management and disaster recovery. As a fully managed, one-stop SaaS activation service integrated with Microsoft Intune, it eliminates the need for additional infrastructure.

Intel vPro reliability enhancement feature: New Intel Total Storage Encryption is added, compatible with Microsoft BitLocker, capable of detecting malicious software threats in real time.
