Igeekphone News, May 15th: Some industry developers have shared screenshots of the internal test UI interface of what is suspected to be Hyper OS 4. This new system offers two different display styles for users to switch between: transparent and soft. The transparent mode adopts a design effect similar to the liquid glass of iOS, giving a more transparent and lightweight visual experience.

In response to this new trend in the industry, blogger Digital chat Station revealed that all major domestic mobile phone brands will fully adopt the liquid glass design style in the future. Moreover, each brand’s customized system will open corresponding customization permissions, allowing users to adjust the display effect according to their own preferences.
Since the official launch of iOS 26, its unique liquid glass design has attracted widespread attention from the entire digital industry. This distinct and semi-transparent UI style is becoming the mainstream aesthetic trend for future global consumer electronic interaction interfaces.

From a technical perspective, the liquid glass effect employs a composite rendering mechanism that combines reflection, refraction, and dynamic deformation, ultimately creating a visual texture that is almost indistinguishable from that of real glass. Leveraging the new layering effect brought by the liquid glass effect, whether switching to a light mode, a dark mode, or customizing a transparent appearance, the entire system interface will appear more lively and vivid compared to traditional flat UI.
The latest leaked information indicates that the Paimeng OS 4, which adopts a brand-new liquid glass design style, will be officially released in June this year. The next-generation digital flagship series, Xiaomi 18 series, will be pre-installed with Paimeng OS 4 at the factory, and the first batch of users will be able to experience this brand-new visual interaction system upon receiving the device.
