According to a recent report from Android Authority, the smartwatch will ship with the diving app pre-installed, but users will need to subscribe to unlock its advanced features.
Built for Underwater Adventures
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 meets the internationally recognized EN13319 certification for diving accessories, allowing it to serve as a practical companion for recreational underwater activities.
The smartwatch features a display capable of reaching 5,000 nits of peak brightness, ensuring excellent visibility even underwater. Through Samsung’s built-in Depth application, users can monitor essential real-time diving information, including:
- Current water depth
- Water temperature
- Dive duration
The watch is designed to support dives at depths of up to 40 meters, making it suitable for snorkeling and many recreational scuba diving scenarios.
Advanced Diving Computer Available Separately
