According to the name of Xiaomi, Redmi Note 5A will be a lower version of Redmi Note 5, which is the first time to release A model in Redmi Note series, and currently, an instruction of Redmi Note 5A is leaked.
From Weibo, @Xiong Ben Tech, this smartphone, Redmi Note 5A will use three card slots, which doesn’t mean it will support three SIM cards, the other card slot is for TF card, which will solve the issue for storage expansion for low-end phones, right now Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A will have at least 16GB storage.
Currently, there are a few smartphones to support dual SIM card, and SIM card. But it is very few to support three cards inserted at the same time. After all, most smartphones just adopt SIM card/TF card, if you put the TF card in the second card slot, you can not add SIM card 2.
Besides, Redmi 5A will use Snapdragon 425 processor, which is an entry-level phone, there are two new phones spotted at TENAA, it is Xiaomi “MD*6, MD*6S”, the “MD*6” is the Redmi Note 5A standard version, MD*6S is Redmi Note 5A advanced version.

And Redmi Note 5A advanced version is almost similar to the standard version, but it will support fingerprint scanner on the back, RAM 3GB ROM 32GB internal storage. It is said Redmi Note 5A will sell at 499 yuan, $80 aiming at low end market.
