Three month ago, on IFA 2017, Umidigi unveiled its new flagship the Umidigi S2 Pro, a beefed version of its already on the market Umidigi S2. As new feature they manage to add protective coat against humidity on phone’s hardware. Design
As the the Umidigi S2, 18:9 is the form factor in trend and is the same that the S2 sports. The Pro word add to the model stop with the changes on the internals. Hardware
As mention before the new Umidigi S2 model added “Pro” to its name with purpose, the brand decided to beef up the terminal with a new list of internals, Mediatek still the SoC partner but in this case the motherboard comes with the OctaCore MT6757T Helio P25 @2.5GHz + Mali-T880 MP2 @1GHz GPU, paired with 6Gb of LPDDR3 and 128Gb of eMMC5 user memory, this config is capable of reach more than 60k.
Despite the budget appeal, Umidigi hasn’t skipped on the contents of that big 6-inch display. In the S2 Pro, you’ll find a Sharp LCD panel with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080. That’s a perfect 18:9 aspect ratio, like what the LG G6 offers. All things considered, those are respectable numbers for a device costing the same as a 64GB Moto G5 Plus. The new baby from Umidigi really made a step up, now we have in hands a truly flagship killer with the price of a mid-range. Made with premium materials, the S2 Pro can be mistaken with the Galaxy S8. Also follow the trend among high-end devices, sport a dual Sony cameras in the back and in front there’s a 16mpx camera that is used for facial recognition.
Battery
One of the principal features is its battery. neither its USB type-C nor the ability to connect to dual WiFi networks, or even have a double tray for SIM or a fingerprint reader in the back. The best are its 5,100 mAh battery that, according to the manufacturer, will keep the phone on for two days without much trouble. 
Water resistant
But without doubt the best feature of this Umidigi S2 Pro is that you can use it in the rain. The process Umidigi used to make the S2 Pro waterproof is called “multifunctional nano-coating protection”, which is the same that we can see on Huawei devices.
