When it comes to mid-range mobiles, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Meizu M6s and Nokia 6 (2018) are among the best choices for low-budget people. They can offer a user experience that is not too far away from what they would have in a flagship, as they are balanced in all their specifications. They can make decent pictures and deliver good performance along with a good battery life, even though their price is very low. Seeing that their prices do not differ so much, we decided to show a comparison between the three mobiles.
Each of the devices has a full metallic design, with the Nokia 6 (2018) even though it looks a little more stylish, it still has a 16: 9 screen. The devices are similar in size, with the Redmi Note 5 Pro being slightly larger due to the larger screen of 5.99 inches. Their screens are different and the Meizu M6s loses the battle due to the lower resolution. The Nokia 6 features a Full HD 16: 9 aspect ratio screen while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a Full HD + 18: 9 screen. Redmi also has a slightly better interior with Snapdragon 636 SoC and up to 6GB Ram. Meizu and Nokia are about the same with the latter having 1GB of Ram in addition.
There are not yet enough camera samples for a decent comparison, but we think Nokia 6 may be doing better because of the emphasis the company has shown in the field. to have some value in this area. In terms of battery life, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro wins 4000 mAh and the energy-efficient Snapdragon 636. If you’re interested in having the latest Android version, you’ll need to choose Nokia that has already been upgraded to Oreo. The other two mobiles have their own Android versions, MIUI for Xiaomi and FlymeOS for Meizu. We have tried all 3 and we think preference is purely a matter of taste.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro is priced at $218, the Meizu M6s reaching $185 and the Nokia 6 (2018) starting at $230. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a longer battery life, the Meizu M6s is the cheapest and the Nokia 6 (2018) is the most beautiful, has faster updates on Android versions and probably better pictures.
