ASUS will announce the ZenFone 6 series on May 16th. The Taiwanese company is preparing to present its upcoming flagship phone that will arrive as the successor of last year ‘s ZenFone 5Z. Today a tipster from India has shared several photos of what could be the Asus device.
The leaked images – which as you can see are not very clear – show that the alleged ZenFone 6 will come with a display without notch: it will be a sliding phone, with the screen surrounded by thin frames and a slightly thick “chin”. When the screen is moved, the visible part of the cursor downwards appears to contain front speakers, while the upper part seems to have two front cameras and another external speaker.
The lower edge of the smartphone seems instead equipped with a slot for a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB-C port. A horizontal dual camera LED configuration appears to be positioned in the top center of the rear panel; a fingerprint sensor and the ASUS brand can also be noted on the back of the device.
At the official launch of the new flagship of Asus missing a few days and so far some reports have revealed unofficially what will be the features and prices of the Zenfone 6 range. Specifically, the next Asus home device will come in three different versions and prices, which start at $647 up to $970.
The Zenfone 6 also appeared on AnTuTu with rather interesting technical specifications: the smartphone should mount a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip, the display should support the Full HD + resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels and run on Android 9 Pie OS. The new flagship of the Taiwanese company should have a main photographic compartment formed by two sensors.
The ZenFone 6 will feature a notification LED, dual SIM slot, microSD card slot and a dedicated smart key. Some of this information may be confirmed, but until the presentation, next week consider this information only as a rumor.
