Igeekphone reported on February 6th that the technology media SamMobile published a blog post yesterday (February 5th), based on the verified results from numerous reliable sources, summarizing and comparing the battery, wired charging, and wireless charging specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series and Galaxy S25 series.
Leaked data indicates that this model supports up to 60W wired fast charging, which represents a significant improvement compared to the 45W of the S25 Ultra. The S26 and S26+ models are highly likely to maintain the specifications of their predecessors, with charging powers of approximately 25W and 45W respectively.
The wireless charging power of S26 and S26+ will be increased from the previous generation’s 15W to 20W, and S26 Ultra will even reach 25W. This means that when users use the wireless charging base, they will have a faster charging experience. The long-stagnated 15W specification has finally become history.
Unfortunately, the previously widely rumored “native support for the Qi2 magnetic charging standard” may not come to fruition. The leaked information indicates that Samsung did not install a magnetic array inside the new device; users still need to use a magnetic phone case in conjunction with it.
Battery capacity
The battery capacity of the S26 standard edition has increased from 4,000mAh to 4,300mAh, which is expected to alleviate the battery life concerns of small-screen flagship devices; while the S26 Ultra edition maintains the same 5000mAh capacity.
