According to Talking Retail on August 5th, Vuse, the e-cigarette brand under British American Tobacco, has begun to roll out its Vuse Ultra products to convenience store retailers in the UK.
According to the product introduction, this new device is equipped with a built-in chip and can be connected to the application on the user’s mobile phone via Bluetooth, allowing users to personalize the device according to their own preferences. Its functions include adjusting the flavor intensity and nicotine content, tracking usage, and checking the remaining e-liquid.

Users can also get updates on remaining battery power, remotely lock the device automatically, and use the “Find My E-Cigarette” function when the e-cigarette is placed in the wrong position. Other features include wireless charging and “smoke control”, allowing for customizable smoke concentration.
Susanna De Iesu, the business director for the UK and Ireland region of British American Tobacco (BAT), said:
Not every e-cigarette user is the same. The core of the Ultra series under Vuse lies in enabling users to personalize their devices and providing a convenient charging experience.
The device was launched on Vuse’s website in July and is now gradually entering the convenience store channel.
In the independent retail sector, the initial promotion was centered in London, with approximately 2,000 stores selected to start selling this device and its replacement cartridges.
This series comes in a total of 8 flavors, but currently most retailers can only offer 4: cherry iced, chilled mint, Classic Tobacco, and pitaya Pomegranate.
The retail price of the device is £30 (approximately $40), and the suggested retail price of the cartridges is £9 (approximately $12) per pack (2 cartridges). Each cartridge contains 2 milliliters of e-liquid (20 milligrams of nicotine), providing a usage of 2,000 pups.
It is reported that initially, sales representatives of British American Tobacco will supply goods to designated retailers.
