It seems that GPD is not the only company experimenting with smaller pocketable Windows machines, as Chuwi is also doing that. They’ve got a device dubbed Chuwi Minibook, which is a pocketable laptop, with Intel Gemini Lake CPU inside. Since CHUWI MiniBook showed up at the Hong Kong Sourcing Fair and got a lot of attention, Chuwi, an ODM manufacturer based in Shenzhen, China, has recently revealed that this ultra-portable pocket laptop will be on pre-sale in the near future. As an upgraded version of 7Y30, 8100Y is built with more advanced 14nm++ technology, 4-cores 4-thread with turbo frequency at 3.4GHz. Furthermore, 8W TDF deign, UHD Graphics 615 GPU clocked at up to 900 MHz enhance its performance to a great extent.
