Coolpad has just launched a new smartphone in the Chinese market with the name COOL 12A. This is a COOL line that follows the success of the COOL 10 that was launched in June. With a price tag of 599 Yuan ($88), the Coolpad COOL 12A offers its users a high aspect ratio display, a 16MP dual-camera system, and a large capacity battery.
Coolpad COOL 12A has dimensions of 156.2 x 75.2 x 8.9 mm and weighs 202.5 grams. This phone has a waterdrop-shaped screen on a 6.3-inch IPS LCD screen with HD + resolution and a 19: 9 aspect ratio. The COOL 12A also offers a screen-to-body ratio of 93 percent and a layer of glass on the rear body.
In terms of performance, this phone is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum chipset, three Cortex-A55 1.8GHz CPU cores, and 1 2.0GHz Cortex-A75 CPU core. This chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and is equipped with a microSD card slot for more storage.
The Coolpad COOL 12A has a 4,000 mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C. The large battery promises up to 14 days of standby time. It has an 8 MP front camera. The rear side of the device has a square-shaped camera module that houses a 16MP main sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and LED flash. The COOL 12A also features a fingerprint scanner and face lock support.
In his country, Coolpad COOL 12A is priced at 599 yuan ($88). During the initial sale, the phone was available for a special price of 569 Yuan (around $84). This device comes in three colors, namely Dream Black, Dream Blue, and Fantasy Silver.
