Igeekphone reported on January 2nd that the technology media SamMyFans released a blog post today (January 2nd), stating that based on the details shown in the official Tips application of One UI 8.5 system, the front design of the Galaxy S26 Ultra phone was unexpectedly exposed.

Igeekphone reported today that the Samsung Galaxy S26 series of mobile phones will introduce the “Privacy Display” feature, which can prevent others from peeking at the owner’s screen from the side.
According to the built-in prompts in the system, it can be seen that this function can reduce the visibility of the screen’s sides. When the user is beside someone else and privacy display is enabled, others will have difficulty seeing the content on the user’s screen.

The official provided a graphical demonstration of this feature on a mobile phone. Based on multiple sources of information, this phone is associated with Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The most obvious change is that the corners of the S26 Ultra are more rounded compared to the S25 Ultra, and the thickness of the bezels has been reduced, increasing the visible area of the screen.

Additionally, the media pointed out that the camera opening on the front of the Galaxy S26 Ultra feels slightly larger than that of the S25 Ultra. It is expected that this will provide a wider field of view. The aluminum casing on the left side of the phone remains empty, and there are three buttons on the right side, including the volume up, volume down buttons, and a side button. This side button is a multi-functional button that can be used as the power button or to activate the AI assistant.
The bottom of the mobile phone is equipped with a SIM card slot, a USB Type-C interface for wired charging and data transmission, as well as a main microphone and a speaker grille. On the top of the phone body, there is an auxiliary microphone.
