The A-series mobile phones of Elephone used to be perfect entry-level devices. The A5 though is a stylish mid-range device with interesting specifications like a triple rear camera and still an affordable price. The Elephone A5 sports a large 6.18-inch display with a notch on top. It is powered by a 64bit MediaTek MT6771 octa-core processor with 2.0GHz, 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of expandable storage (max. 512GB). In terms of 4G FDD-LTE connectivity, the full-screen mobile supports all important bands, including B20 with 800MHz.
The notch screen of the Elephone A5 features full HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 18.9:9. The 5-point multi-touch display has a size of 6.18-inch. Underneath, it is powered by an Helio P60, paired with an ARM Mali G72 MP3 graphics unit. In terms of memory and storage, you can either choose between 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM or 6GB of RAM and 128GB ROM. Both variants can expand internal storage by up to 512 GB with a microSD memory card.
The Elephone A5 sports 5 cameras sensors. It has three main cameras and two front cameras. The three rear cameras consist of lenses with 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 0.3-megapixel which are able to record videos in full HD. On the front are a 20-megapixel main sensor and a secondary 2-megapixel camera sensor. Videos can be recorded with 720p.
Powering the affordable mid-range notch phone is a 4,000mAh battery supporting Quick Charge Technology with 9V/1.8A or 5V/2A. In terms of connectivity, the A5 mobile phone supports connectivity options such as dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/Glonass, dual 4G LTE and OTG. The Elephone A5 is running the latest Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box with FOTA to Android 9.0 Pie at a later stage.
