GPD Pocket 3 is now available for pre-sale, with the i7-1195G7 version priced at 5,899 yuan, $921. Today, GPD officially announced several technical changes to the production version of Pocket 3.
According to GPD, Pocket 3’s mass-produced machine will be equipped with an acceleration sensor that allows it to rotate freely when in tablet mode, enabling the desktop to turn straight. No need to manually adjust the desktop orientation. The production version of Pocket 3 also replaces the traditional trackpad with a tempered glass trackpad. In addition, TF card slots are also under development.
iGeekphone learned that GPD Pocket 3 has two models, high and low. The high one is equipped with 1195G7 processor, and the low one is equipped with N6000 processor. The screen is 8-inch sunshine screen, 360 degree flip back button design, 1920×1200 resolution, 284ppi pixel density, 16:10 ratio, 500nit brightness, supporting 10 point touch, compatible with 4096 grade pressure sensing stylus. Pocket 3 is equipped with three USB3.2 Gen2 interfaces, all with 10Gbps transmission rate (1000MB/s).

In terms of functions, GPD Pocket 3 modularizes functional interfaces and can replace different expansion modules at any time. The serial port expansion module is a standard EIA RS-232 serial communication interface that supports connecting to a 9-pin serial port device.
