One to two weeks ago, a render was leaked that revealed the design of Honor Play 5. Then the well-known leaker of the Chinese social network Weibo, Digital Chat Station, revealed the features of the smartphone. And today we have the first official information.
Initially, based on what we know, the upcoming smartphone has a flat-screen with a notch for the selfie camera. It has a total of less curved edges all over the body and the SIM slot on the left side at the top.
The Honor Play 5 has a quad-core camera in a square module with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide, two 2MP sensors (probably depth and macro), and an LED flash in the center. Beyond that, the smartphone supports 66W fast charging, has a 6.53 inch OLED screen with FHD + resolution, and a notch for the selfie camera.
Its processor is Dimensity 800U and its battery has a capacity of 3800mAh. It also has a USB Type-C port, 7.46 mm thick, weighs 179 grams, and may have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The price and features of the selfie remain unknown. But the company confirmed in a series of posters that the Honor Play 5 will be available in three colors – black, silver gradient, and white gradient and will actually support 66W fast charging.
