The Gentle Monster Huawei Smart Glasses announced earlier this spring were due to hit the market in the summer, but it was later announced that Huawei x Gentle Monster sales would start in China on September 6 this year. However, after the sale began only yesterday.
In total, HUAWEI introduced 5 different models: Smart East Moon 01, Smart Jack Blue 01, Smart South Side 01, Smart Alio 01 and Smart Alio C1. The peculiarity of the entire line is that the company positions the gadget not only as a smart accessory, but also classic sunglasses with the ability to independently change lenses.
In one of the arches of the glasses, there is a motherboard, two microphones, a speaker, a battery, a charging unit, and an antenna. The device does not have hardware keys, and a touch panel is used for interaction. With the help of glasses, you can answer phone calls, call a voice assistant. To improve sound quality, the manufacturer has provided noise reduction technology based on artificial intelligence.
The Gentle Monster Huawei Smart Glasses are protected against dust and moisture according to the IP67 standard. The accessory is charged via USB Type-C located on the case of the corporate case. Glasses are inserted inside the case, where they are wirelessly charged by transmitting pulses to two induction coils built into the arms.
The built-in battery with a capacity of 2200mAh, according to the manufacturer, is enough for 20 hours of standby time. These new Gentle Monster Huawei Smart Glasses can be pre-ordered on the Gentle Monster website, prices in China starting at 1999 yuan (about $ 282). Other versions of the device will cost 2499 yuan (equal to $353).
