The Pop-Up camera is now a new trend from Chinese and even Korean smartphone manufacturer. After launching the Huawei Maimang 8 smartphone in the Chinese market, it seems that the company is now all set to launch yet another smartphone which features a Pop-Up front-facing camera, similar with the P Smart Z. Recently conceptual images of the upcoming handset of Huawei surfaced online revealing its design and the pop-up slider cutout.
Huawei’s concept phone comes equipped with a 6.35 inches screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. According to the rumors, the screen has an IPS display with the screen resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a Kirin 710 chipset that further strengthens the phone as a solid mid-range.
In Addition, the upcoming handset features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB with a memory card. And if that’s not enough, the new phone packs a staggering 4000mAh battery, that’s enough to meet your needs. The handset measures 163.5 x 77.3 x 8.9mm and weighs only 197 grams.
At the front of the smartphone is a 16MP selfie camera that slides out from the left side of the body, similar to Huawei P Smart Z. On the back of the smartphone is a dual camera setup of 16MP + 2MP. The dual cameras have an aperture size of f/1.8 and f / 2.4, respectively.
The images of the upcoming phone confirm the fingerprint reader to be located on the back instead of an in-display sensor. The smartphone comes loaded with the latest Android Pie 9.0 operating system along with the EMUI 9.0 on top. It retains the 3.5mm audio jack and supports IP68.
The exact launch dates are not yet known but the rumors suggest this upcoming phone can get launched as soon as the end of July 2019. Color options include Black Midnight Black, Green Emerald Green and Blue Sapphire Blue. The price is expected to be around 1999 yuan. Let’s wait for the official announcement from Huawei.
