Innokin’s Coolfire Z60 looks to be the premier compact mod kit
Innokin has just launched the latest addition to their industry defining Coolfire series and it’s already winning prestigious awards. The Coolfire Z60 kit includes the new Zlide Top tank, plus a device with coil boosting technology and all-day battery life, in a super compact form factor.
The Coolfire Z60 takes inspiration from Innokin’s previous Coolfire devices, the Z50 and Z80, combining the best parts of both to create a compact, versatile, and reliable mod for vapers of all experience levels.
The chassis is constructed from zinc alloy achieving low weight, high durability, and the unmistakable feeling of Innokin quality. The Coolfire Z60 features coil boosting technology, including Coil+ and Refresh modes, which extend coil life by removing coil residue and enhancing wicking action.
The Coolfire Z60 allows for full variable wattage control up to 60W and is powered by a 2500mAh internal battery with rapid USB-C charging. This results in all-day battery life and the ability to quickly top up on charge when needed. Despite all of this, the Coolfire Z60 is just 75mm tall, making it one of the smallest fully featured mods on the market.
Zlide Top
This wouldn’t be a flagship Innokin launch without a top tier tank. The Coolfire Z60 is supplied with the brand new Zlide Top, the latest addition to Innokin’s Z-coil line-up. The Zlide Top is Innokin’s first Z-coil tank to feature top airflow, which eliminates leaks. The airflow system has been carefully designed to allow for greater precision than ever before, while maintaining a silent and smooth draw.
The Zlide top is compatible with all Z-coils, delivering a huge range of vaping experiences and the expanded airflow control system accommodates the full range of airflow options from tight MTL to a looser RDL for higher wattages.
The Zlide Top is accompanied by an all-new coil. The DuoPrime 0.6Ω MTL Z-coil is rated for 9-13W and is the first time DuoPrime coil technology has come to the Z-coil line. This special coil technology enhances coil saturation and longevity by embedding a secondary layer of mesh into the wicking material.

Industry experts seem to agree that Innokin have a hit on their hands. Upon release, the Coolfire Z60 kit won “Best Vape Starter Kit” from long-running industry publication Vaping Post, with the Zlide Top tank winning “Best Vape Clearomizer/tank for MTL” and “Best All-Round Clearomizer” from the same prestigious publication.
Early reviews of the kit indicate the same sentiment toward the Coolfire Z60 kit. DJSLB Vapes, known for his highly technical reviews, gave the device a rare “A” grade, stating: “If I was to rate this kit, I’d give it an A, really there’s not much to complain about here, especially with the tank. I always try hard to look at a product from every lens, but like I said, I can’t really find many cons with either the mod or the tank.”
