Today, ShrimpApplePro revealed that the frame of the iPhone 15 Pro model will be further narrowed and will adopt a curved frame design similar to that of the Apple Watch.
The two models of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Ultra will still adopt a straight-screen design, and only the frame will be curved. By narrowing the frame and adopting a combination of the curved design, it will produce an appearance similar to Apple Watch Series 7 and Series 8.
In addition, the curved front glass will also appear in the design of the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, but the bezels of these devices will not be thinner compared to the iPhone 14 series. The whistleblower added that the iPhone 15 series will have the same display size as last year’s iPhone 14 series.
According to a previous report, the iPhone 15 series is expected to continue to launch four versions of iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max, all of which will adopt the Smart Island design and will use a titanium alloy frame. The Pro version will be equipped with a new generation of A17 Bionic, which is built on TSMC’s 3nm process (N3), and the memory will also be upgraded to 8GB.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will use the A16 Bionic on the iPhone 14 Pro. In addition, the Pro version will also be equipped with a periscope telephoto lens, and it is expected to switch the ancestral Lightning interface to a Type-C interface.
