iQOO appears to be preparing its first compact tablet, with early reports suggesting the upcoming device could become one of the few small-screen tablets powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship Snapdragon platform.
According to Chinese tech blogger Digital Xiaolian Tiaozhan, iQOO’s first mini tablet has reportedly entered the network certification process. The device carries the model number iPA2691 and is listed as a Wi-Fi-only tablet without cellular communication support.
The leaked information suggests that the new iQOO tablet could be equipped with a next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series flagship processor (also referred to in some reports as the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition chip). The tablet is rumored to launch alongside the upcoming iQOO 16 smartphone series.

The same source previously revealed that iQOO’s gaming-focused performance tablet would arrive in the second half of 2026, describing it as one of the only compact tablets in the market expected to feature Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship chipset.
A Compact Gaming Tablet with Flagship Performance
While iQOO has already released high-performance tablets under its brand, the company’s existing models have focused on larger displays. Current flagship products such as the vivo Pad6 Pro and iQOO Pad6 Pro feature large 13.2-inch 4K performance displays and are powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon platform.
These devices are designed around gaming and productivity, offering features such as enhanced touch response, game super-resolution technology, and advanced performance optimization.
Based on current leaks, the upcoming iQOO mini tablet is expected to continue the brand’s gaming-oriented strategy but in a smaller and more portable form factor. A compact body combined with a flagship Snapdragon processor could appeal to users who want high performance without carrying a large tablet.
Growing Interest in Small High-Performance Tablets
The premium compact tablet market has gained renewed attention in recent years, with manufacturers exploring smaller devices that deliver flagship-level performance. Gaming, cloud streaming, emulation, and mobile productivity have all increased demand for powerful tablets that are easier to carry.
If the reports are accurate, iQOO’s upcoming mini tablet could stand out by combining a smaller display size with flagship-class processing power, positioning it as a direct competitor to other compact performance tablets.
However, iQOO has not yet officially confirmed details such as the tablet’s screen size, battery capacity, cooling system, design, pricing, or release date. More information is expected to emerge as the device moves closer to its official launch.
For now, the iQOO mini tablet remains one of the most anticipated compact Android tablets expected to arrive later this year.
