Philip Morris International Korea announced that its IQOS ILUMA won the Best Brand Award in the Heating without Burning category at the Consumer Choice Korea 2023 Awards.
Hosted and supervised by Dong-A Ilbo, the Consumer Awards are conducted by the Korea Institute and the Korea Consumer Evaluation Council for consumer research and evaluation. From the brands selected after preliminary research, the best brands are selected with the highest value to consumers.
In the consumer evaluation, the object of evaluation includes the use experience, brand preference, commitment to consumers and so on; In the expert evaluation, several items such as communication and feedback with consumers, consumer satisfaction review system, brand safety system, realization of social value and responsibility, and consumer protection were reviewed.
Philip Morris International Korea launched IQOS ILUMA, a heat-not-burn product, in November, which has been praised for steering smokers to heat-not-burn products.
Philip Morris International Korea’s head of public relations Kim Ki-hwa said: “Philip Morris International has always been committed to product innovation and has invested 14 trillion won (about 76.9 billion yuan) in the IQOS ILUMA series. In the future, Philip Morris International will make every effort to make IQOS ILUMA a more trusted brand for consumers.”
