Igeekphone reported on January 21st that Taiwan-based media “Electronic Times” stated today that the release plan for the ASUS ROG Phone 10 series smartphones, originally scheduled for February 2026, has now been cancelled.

Considering that when Qualcomm released the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip platform, the partners listed included ROG. The ROG Phone 10 series should theoretically have been equipped with this processor, but the product ultimately failed to reach consumers.
Due to the contractual obligations with Google, ASUS must provide at least three years of after-sales support for all models. Therefore, ASUS cannot currently clearly announce its withdrawal from the smartphone market. However, there will be no new ROG Phone or Zenfone releases in the future.
