Japan Tobacco (JT) launched a brand-new heated tobacco equipment, “Ploom CUBE”, in the Japanese market on October 1st. It was available on the CLUB JT online store (starting at 10:00) and at all Ploom shops across the country from that day. The suggested retail price (including tax) of the entry-level set is 1,980 Japanese yen (13 US dollars), and multiple panels and accessories are also available for sale simultaneously.
According to the information, both Ploom CUBE and Ploom AURA are equipped with SMART HEATFLOW heating technology. The official claims that it can suppress off-flavors and burning through more precise temperature control and maintain the optimal heating temperature for a longer time to enhance flavor consistency. The body continues the palm-sized design of Ploom’s early “rounded cube”.
The body of the Ploom CUBE is available in four colors: black, gold, Navy blue and Moonlight silver. Supports 8 types of replaceable front panels (including “Lava Red”, “Sea Blue”, “Plum Purple”, “Lavender Purple”, etc.), and comes with fabric/leather back covers and fabric carrying cases and other accessories.
