The official launch of the new Meizu 17 flagship phone series is scheduled for May 8. As the presentation date of the Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 Pro gets closer, the company has been slowly revealing the most important features that will be present in the series.
According to new teasers, the main camera of the gadget will be the 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor, which is familiar to us in Redmi K30 Pro, Vivo X30 Pro, as well as the recent Nubia Red Magic 5G. The poster also reveals that the phone will be available in a Dark Green color option, along with a few others.

The novelty comes shortly after the Chinese company has confirmed that the Meizu 17 will be the brand’s first phone with a high 90Hz refresh rate on its screen. Since signing they have also revealed that the terminal will be powered by a good 4500mAh battery. The battery will support 30W mCharge fast charge technology. Meanwhile, mSmart technology will optimize energy consumption to the maximum in scenarios of prolonged use of 5G networks.
Meizu recently officially revealed the full design of the phone. In their poster, they revealed that the smartphone has a flat-screen and a curved back area. The quad-camera system in the rear area has its sensors arranged horizontally, with a built-in LED ring flash together in the center, flanked by two sensors on each side.
We’ve also learned from official sources that the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 eight-core processor with support for 5G connectivity will be present under the hood. The company seeks the best possible performance by incorporating UFS 3.1 internal storage and LPDRR5 RAM.
It would incorporate a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution. The screen would integrate a fingerprint reader, and several of its key details were recently revealed. I would run Android 10 under the Flyme 8 user interface.
In addition to the former, the Meizu 17 Pro with better specs is expected to be revealed. Among its improvements, we would have a more powerful 40W fast charge. Finally, the price of the series could start from 3999 yuan ( about $564 ).
