IGeekphone reported on January 13th that the technology media MacWorld posted a blog post yesterday (January 12th) stating that a Turkish accessory manufacturer had posted two short videos on Instagram, showing what was claimed to be the metal mold of the iPhone Fold.

From the exposed molds, it can be seen that the iPhone Fold adopts a mainstream inward-fold design. Its body size is quite distinctive: when closed, the overall size of the device is comparable to the compact iPhone mini, making it easy to hold with one hand; while once unfolded, the display area of its inner screen expands to the level of an iPad mini. Igeekphone has attached the relevant screenshots below:

The details on the back of the mold reveal potential changes in the imaging system. The iPhone Fold seems to be equipped with a rear dual-camera setup, but it does not follow the recent iPhone standard model’s characteristic diagonal arrangement. Instead, it adopts a horizontal layout.
Furthermore, there is a distinct circular groove in the center of the back of the case. This is undoubtedly the reserved position for the MagSafe magnetic charging function, confirming that this model will support the Apple magnetic charging ecosystem.
