According to the mylaptopguide website, “Windows Prime” has now exposed the technical specifications of the upcoming Surface Laptop 5.
As shown above, the Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 is available in 13.5-inch and 15-inch screens, 2K-level resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 3:2 ratio.
In terms of configuration, Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 is equipped with the latest processors from Intel and AMD. Intel models can choose i5-1240P and i7-1280P, the former is 4 large cores + 8 small cores, and the latter is 6 large cores + 8 small cores. AMD models can choose R5 6680U and R7 6980U, the former has 6 cores and 12 threads, and the latter has 8 cores and 16 threads. From the naming point of view, both AMD processors are customized models of Microsoft. It should be noted that there is a doubt in the above table, that is, the Surface Laptop 5 is equipped with LPDDR4x memory, while the AMD Ryzen 6000 series only supports DDR5 and LPDDR5 memory.
Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 is equipped with Intel 11th-generation Core 4-core processors and AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors. This upgrade will bring huge performance improvements. The Core version will have several times the number of cores. The Ryzen version will have the strongest nuclear display currently.
