MIUI 12 Support Will Abandon For These Models From September

After the presentation of MIUI 12 and its first compatible devices, Xiaomi has published today a new list with several of the smartphones that will stop receiving new development versions or internal betas with the latest news.

And is that, if from this June 20 the development program for the Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi 6X, Mi Note 3, Mi Mix 2, and Redmi Note 5 will stop, now it will do it with eight new devices, specially characterized for integrating the Snapdragon 845.

MIUI 12 Support Stop For These phones

This new measure will take place starting on September 5, 2020, the date on which the following devices will stop receiving new developer beta versions (Chinese ROM):

  • Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition
  • Xiaomi Mi 8 SE
  • Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro
  • Xiaomi Mi 8
  • Xiaomi Mi 8 Transparent Edition
  • Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S
  • Xiaomi Mi Mix 3
  • Xiaomi Mi Max 3

Without a doubt, a fairly extensive list, which includes terminals equipped with the Snapdragon 845 mainly. These will stop receiving new beta versions and probably the latest news from MIUI 12. That if Xiaomi will continue to release new stable versions in order to correct possible errors. In short, it is expected that these devices do not see the arrival of MIUI 13 and even less Android 11 except for some last-minute change by Xiaomi.
