Although there are much reliable news leaked about Oneplus 6, we almost confirm Oneplus 6 design right now. Before its design and specs needs to be confirmed by its official press conference, Oneplus official confirms they will use top notch on its upcoming flagship, Oneplus 6.
The image is leaked by The Verge,below, which belongs to part of Oneplus 6 real design offered by Oneplus official. We can see the top is the sensor, and front camera and top notch zone, compared with iPhone X, it occupies shorter screen width, because Android P has optimized top notch, we will not feel inconvenience in usage.
Oneplus Co-founder, Carl Pei claims this kind of design will bring larger visual space for phone, because the notification bar has moved to the paralleled zone with the top notch, the screen can provide more space for users.
The width of the top notch will between that of iPhone X and Essential phone. Carl Pei claims without affecting the receiver and front camera, the top notch area will be not small, and in this area, it will integrate environmental optical sensor and LED notification light, but it doesn’t have Face ID like that of iPhone X, because its width is smaller than that of iPhone X, the top notch dimension has 19.616mm x 7.687mm.

In software, Oneplus team tests top 1000 Google play apps by manual to confirm which one needs to be compatible with the phone. Oneplus 6 clock will be put on the left side, which can leave more space for status bar. When you play videos, the phone will block the top notch zone automatically. So you can accept top notch on Oneplus 6 now?
