This afternoon, OnePlus held an offline tasting meeting to officially launch the onePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 limited edition mobile phone.
In terms of design, the onePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 limited has a slim body, three-stage buttons and a new CMF design. On the back of the phone, OnePlus has divided it into three parts: the upper “panoramic window”, the middle “special snowflake AG glass” and the bottom “forged carbon texture”.
Earlier this year, at the E3 game show, cyberpunk 2077 made its debut with a trailer that was hacked into. The phone’s boot screen is a replica of the E3 presentation for Cyberpunk 2077.
According to OnePlus, the 8T Cyberpunk 2077 limited is equipped with one of the most customised systems the company has ever built: The dynamic wallpaper is created using the spirit of the game’s symbol, the Takuji logo; The system uses the icon redraw and the bright neon color. The notification light effect simulates the flashing effect of neon lights when they are powered on. Fingerprint unlocking movement effect corresponds to eye scan in the game. The charging animation simulates the hacking process.
Aurally, onePlus customised new system sounds in conjunction with game sounds, and worked with CDPR to create recognisable music for ringtones and alarm clocks. Among them, Waking Up Samurai has the sound of a retro synthesizer and a hardcore rock style. The sound engineers also tuned the tone specifically for the phone’s pitch.
The phone also has two custom filters, Night City and Northern California, which represent night City and day in Cyberpunk’s 2077 game. These two filters can also be used for video recording, while the first one simulates the effect of the artificial eye in the game, with a slight color difference at the edge of the picture, plus a dynamic Glitch effect.
OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 limited has a custom glow-lit case. The manual is also a poster, which features The mantis Arm, the iconic visual element of Bopunk 2077. Oneplus also selected the iconic visual elements of the game, making six limited badges, each phone box will be a random bonus.
onePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 limited edition comes with 12GB of ram and 256GB of storage, priced at 3999 yuan, $605. It is now available for pre-order and will be available at zero o ‘clock on November 11.
