The OPPO Find X5 series is tentatively scheduled to be released in February, so there is still a month left. The online renderings only give the basic outline, and some details can only be answered by the live images. If you want to see the real phone, you don’t have to wait until next month. But, a leakster shared the live images of the Oppo Find X5 Pro, revealing the secret of the appearance of the phone.
As we can see, the picture shows that the Find X5 body is made of glossy glass as a whole instead of AG frosted. The disadvantage is that it is easy to be contaminated with fingerprints and stains.
The upper left corner of the fuselage continues the streamlined design of the previous generation. The integrated hot-bent glass technology is expensive, and the lens area presents an irregular trapezoidal state, which is more recognizable than the previous generation. From different angles, the Oppo Find X5 Pro lenses are almost completely integrated with the back cover glass, and regardless of whether they look good or not, at least they have a unique brand gene in the field of flagship phones, and the style has a certain continuity.
The two symmetrical lenses are expected to be dual IMX766 sensors, a 50MP main camera + 50MP ultra-wide-angle, and a 13MP telephoto lens. Interestingly, the OPPO and Hasselblad dual-brand logo styles are printed on the right side of the fuselage, which means that the imaging system is jointly tuned by the two brands to create a high-end video specification mode. The first self-developed NPU chip directly modifies the core bottom layer.
Little information was shared by the Chinese leaker, but he mentioned that the “base” model of the series will come equipped with the Dimensity 9000 chipset. If this is confirmed, this model should be the first smartphone to come equipped with the new Dimensity processor.
The most powerful model in the company’s series should replace the DT 9000 chipset for the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, at least that’s what a test carried out by the manufacturer on the Geekbench testing site indicates. In addition to the chipset, the new high-end smartphone of the company was registered on the site with RAM 12GB and was running Android 12, possibly running through a modified interface Oppo, colors 12.
Previous rumors claim that the new Oppo Find X5 Pro will come with the new MariSilicon X NPU, this new Neural Processing Unit of the device will be responsible for the work with artificial intelligence, being able to improve photos of the device and save battery while using the smartphone. Unfortunately, the leaks could not tell if this new NPU will be exclusive to the new Pro smartphone only.
