Currently, OPPO is one of the few manufacturers to use a dual submersible telephoto lens design in its flagship model, and this configuration is expected to continue with its upcoming top-of-the-line imaging flagship, the OPPO Find X8 Ultra. The blogger revealed that the two telephoto lenses of the model will use SONY IMX 906 and IMX 882 sensors respectively. The former supports triple optical zoom, while the latter supports sixx optical zoom, and the sensor has a maximum size of 1/1.56 inch and 50 megapixels.
Igeekphone noted that as the main competitor of OPPO Find X8 Ultra, the Mi 15 Ultra and vivo X200 Ultra both chose the 200-megapixel hidden telephoto lens of Samsung HP sensor.
In terms of main photography, the OPPO Find X8 Ultra will most likely continue the SONY LYT 900 one-inch super bottom main photography scheme used by the previous Find X7 Ultra.
In addition, the model also performs well in other hardware configurations. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme mobile platform and come with a curved OLED screen with 2K resolution. In terms of battery life, OPPO Find X8 Ultra will have a built-in 6000mAh large-capacity battery, and support 80W wired charge + 50W wireless charge (full blood version).
According to current information, the OPPO Find X8 Ultra is expected to be released in Q1 2025.
