Brian Shen, the deputy director of OPPO, published a post on Weibo, in which he admitted that the model designated as Reno Ace 2 will hit the market in April this year. Recently, Oppo PDHM00 has certified by 3C authority that could be the Reno Ace 2. Now the same model has appeared on TENAA along with its images.
The leaked image of the Oppo Reno Ace 2 that had appeared a few days back showed that it is fitted with the round-shaped camera setup. The images of the phone that have appeared on TENAA shows that it also features an identical Oreo camera setup. Hence, it appears that the PDHM00 is indeed the Reno Ace 2 smartphone.
Its camera setup features Quad-sensors, the volume rockers are on the left edge, while the power button on the right side. The display of the phone has a punch-hole at the top-left corner. It seems to be an OLED display that is integrated with an in-screen fingerprint reader.
As we said above, a mysterious Oppo device, codenamed PDHM00 – is likely the Reno Ace 2 has been certified by the regulator, 3C. Mobile has a fast 65W charger.
The GSM Arena page notes, the Oppo PDHM00 has 5G network capabilities. On the CCC (3C) website, the public can see a 10V / 6.5A charger with the model number VCA7GACH. Which is exactly the same as in the first Oppo Reno Ace retail box.
As we know, a 4000mAh battery can be charged 49% in 10 minutes. In fact, it only takes 28 minutes to reach 100% battery capacity. That sucks, cellphones will not come out of China. For global Oppo fans, they have to wait for the Find X2 line to meet the 65W charging speed.
Lastly, Oppo Reno Ace 2 is predicted to have a Snapdragon 865 chipset and supported by LPDDR5 RAM along with UFS 3.0 storage technology. It could be that it is a very interesting package. Let’s hope that the new product, unlike its predecessor, will receive global distribution. And not be only for the Chinese market.
