Igeekphone News on October 13th: The Realme GT8 Pro will be released this month. The new model will be co-branded with Ricoh Imaging, bringing the authentic Ricoh GR flavor.
Today, Realme announced that the Realme GT8 Pro will be equipped with a Ricoh GR anti-glare main camera. This is the first main camera lens in the industry to pass the Ricoh GR optical standard certification, and it has passed the professional camera-level standard tests of anti-glare, low distortion, high resolution and low chromatic aberration.
Wang Wei, vice president of Realme, said that this main camera has achieved three major technological breakthroughs.

In terms of anti-glare and low distortion, the GT8 Pro adopts a brand-new lens structure, featuring a 7P high-gloss lens and a 5-layer ultra-low reflection coating with a reflectivity as low as 0.2%. Each layer can eliminate a large amount of reflection, thereby suppressing ghosting and glare, making the picture cleaner and more transparent.
In addition, the lens is equipped with an ultra-transparent lens glass outside, which adopts a high-transparency double-layer AR coating process and has a light transmittance as high as 97%.

To further optimize the imaging quality, the lens group also incorporates deep absorption blue glass and uses IR spin-coated filter coating for glare control. It has a 30% red light interception rate, reduces infrared interference, and ensures the true color reproduction of the image.
At the same time, by absorbing rather than canceling each other out to filter out stray light, the glare pollution caused by secondary reflection can be avoided.
In terms of algorithms, Realme and Ricoh GR Imaging experts have jointly developed a dedicated intuitive algorithm engine. The algorithm engine focuses on realism, striving to improve image quality while avoiding image damage.

It is understood that Realme also restores the texture of the picture through four core algorithms: Raw domain pixel-level image quality algorithm, 10-bit true color transition, super light sensing HDR algorithm, and Film-tone algorithm.
In terms of core configuration, the Realme GT8 Pro will be equipped with the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8, featuring a 200-megapixel telephoto lens, a 2K straight screen, master-level symmetrical dual speakers, a battery capacity exceeding 7000mAh, and support wireless charging.
