The sub-brand of Oppo, Realme, is about to reach Europe and the new Realme 3 is being a success. The firm has good arguments to compete with brands like Xiaomi and the new Realme X look very good.
These new Realme X and Realme X Youth will be presented on May 15th officially but through TENAA we can already know all their specifications in full. A 16MP unit, located on a tray pulled out of the case, will be used as a selfie photo. The battery is 3680mAh. It runs on Android 9 Pie with a ColorOS 6.0 shell and has dimensions of 161.2 x 76 x 9.4 mm and weight of 191 grams.
For those users who prefer slightly smaller smartphones, Realme has prepared the X Lite version. The price will probably be lower, and cost-cutting can be seen in the cameras. In the back there will be a set of 16MP + 5MP and a 25MP selfie unit will hit the front. The premiere of both devices is scheduled for May 15. Then we will also learn the prices and we will be able to assess whether Realme X and X Lite have a chance against the competition.
