On January 4 last year, Realme released a new generation of realme GT2 / Pro series, followed by the realme GT2 Master Discovery Edition on July 12, so many fans are hoping to see realme GT3 series in the first half of this year.
@Xu Qichase, vice president, global marketing president and China president of realme, said in a reply to netizens that they are planning to change the realme GT3 to the next generation flagship model, which should be released by the end of this year according to the pace of product release.
According to this time plan, coupled with the previous “Snapdragon 8 Gen3” to be released in October or November, we believe that the new phone is likely to use the next generation of Snapdragon flagship platform. Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Qualcomm is also planning to launch an official overclocked 8+ Gen 2 due to the good performance of the 8 Gen 2. The Snapdragon 8 Gen3 flagship is expected to appear a little earlier than expected.
Few details are available about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. According to the exposed runs, the CPU performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip will be 25% better than that of the Snapdragon 8 series SoC. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip scored 1,930 for single core and 6,236 for multi-core in early Geekbench tests.
Sources say the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy will have a 1+5+2 core configuration, which is one more energy efficient core than the current 1+4+3. Thanks to the TSMC N4P process node, its energy efficiency is potentially 20 percent higher than that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
