What happened in the past days like a rumor is true today. It’s about launching a Redmi TV, a device whose debut is now confirmed. We find out that the launch will take place on August 29, a press event is being prepared.
The teaser you see above alludes to the diagonal and the universe we will discover. An AI assistant for the Chinese public would not be excluded. Also, it is not known whether Xiaomi Redmi TV will make its global debut or remain in China alone.

So far, rumors indicate that this new device will appear in two sizes: a 40-inch version and a 70-inch version. The Redmi TV boxes have also been shown, so it is presumed that it is ready for distribution to stores. And although certainly, this detail does not show many details, we can confirm that the launch of Redmi Smart TV is very close.
Xiaomi is currently selling the 75-inch Mi TV 4S and Mi TV 4 models in China at a starting price of 5199 yuan (approximately $738), so the new 70-inch Redmi smart TV should be a little less expensive.
According to Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, along with the new smart TV, the expected smartphone Redmi Note 8 could also be launched. So we can only wait until Redmi offers us more information about this upcoming release.
