Previously, we reported that REDMI K100 series was scheduled to be released ahead of schedule in September. The specifications of this highly anticipated REDMI K100 have also been revealed, and it has been positioned as the strongest flagship model in the K series’ history.
The partial configuration highlights disclosed by the digital blogger indicate that compared to the previous generation, the K100 has achieved comprehensive upgrades in multiple aspects.

In terms of the screen, the REDMI K100 will feature a medium-sized straight screen of approximately 6.6 inches, with a refresh rate of up to 185Hz and support for super pixel technology. It achieves a display clarity close to 2K while consuming only 1.5K of power, providing a smooth and detailed visual experience.
The performance is driven by the brand-new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 dual-core platform. Additionally, it still features a metal frame, and has an internal battery capacity of up to 8000mAh, supporting the highest 50W wireless fast charging. Both the battery life and charging efficiency have been significantly improved.

The imaging system is also one of the highlights. The main camera will be equipped with a 2-billion-pixel large sensor and a telephoto macro lens. It is expected to use a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, enabling high-quality shooting of both distant scenes and macro shots.
In addition, the body of the device will be equipped with 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, a metal frame, a glass back cover, full-level water resistance, and symmetrical dual speakers. The attention to detail is evident.
As for the pricing, although the costs of components such as memory and chips have generally increased, the REDMI K100 series is also bound to raise its prices. However, it is reported that the price increase will be lower than the average level of similar competing products, and its cost-performance ratio remains competitive.

Overall, the REDMI K100 not only achieved a breakthrough in hardware specifications, but also underwent comprehensive improvements in battery life, charging, photography, and overall build quality.
