Redmi K50 Series: High-Performance Processor, Extremely Cost-Effective

Like the previous-generation Redmi K40 game enhanced version, the Redmi K50 gaming version also has an OLED centered hole-digging straight screen design and is equipped with a lifting shoulder button. The back is still a familiar mecha style design language.

It is not yet certain which processor the Redmi K50 gaming version will use. Considering that the Snapdragon 8 platform will be applied to the top-of-the-line version of the Redmi K50 Pro, it is speculated that the Redmi K50 gaming version may use a MediaTek processor.

It is reported that MediaTek will have two flagship processors in 2022, Dimensity 9000 and Dimensity 8000, which will be used by Redmi. Therefore, the K50 gaming version may use MediaTek Dimensity 9000 or Dimensity 8000 chips.

In terms of specifications, the Dimensity 8000 is based on TSMC’s 5nm process and consists of 4 Cortex A78 cores and 4 Cortex A55 small cores. The CPU frequency is up to 2.75GHz, and the GPU is Mali-G510 MC6. AnTuTu’s comprehensive score has broken through. 750,000 points, surpassing Xiaolong 870.

Dimensity 9000 adopts TSMC’s 4nm process. The CPU includes 1 Cortex-X2 super core with the main frequency of up to 3.05GHz, 3 Cortex-A710 cores with the main frequency of up to 2.85GHz, and 4 Cortex-A510 with a main frequency of 1.8GHz. At the core, Antutu’s score exceeded 1 million points.
